Core Values

Below are the core values that encapsulate the beliefs and motivations of World Harvest and all members.

  • We Value the Word

    We believe that anointed teaching of God’s word and the application of the word will bring transformation in individual lives and in the church. Teaching is for life change and to instill faith in people’s hearts about the goodness and power of God and the blessings of redemption.

  • We Value The Holy Spirit

    We believe that every believer and the church should follow the promptings and leading of the Holy Spirit in their lives and in the function of the church and its ministries.

  • We Value Worship

    We believe that every believer should lead a lifestyle of worship manifesting in full devotion to Jesus Christ and His cause, good financial stewardship, personal authenticity, integrity, character, wholeness, and resulting in the powerful corporate worship and exaltation of God.

  • We Value Growth

    We believe that Champions of Faith should yearn for continuous personal and corporate growth. This includes providing relevant quality ministries for our children and young people to raise up the next generations of Faith Champions.

  • We Value People

    We believe that people matter to God, and hence they matter to us. We are thus committed to evangelism as a lifestyle and as a process.

  • We Value Love

    We believe that loving relationships should permeate every aspect of personal and church life. All we do must be motivated and actuated by love.

  • We Value Unity in Diversity

    We believe the church should comprise of people from different ethnic and cultural backgrounds, united in a sense of divine purpose. We aim to be culturally relevant while remaining doctrinally pure and to promote unity among all true Christian churches regardless of denomination.

  • We Value Service and Community

    We believe the church should operate as a unified community where every member is a minister and is willing to accomplish ministry in teams - men and women faithfully stewarding their spiritual gifts and ministry callings. We believe that life change happens best in community, as it encourages discipleship, vulnerability, and accountability.

  • We Value Excellence

    We believe that excellence honors God and inspires people, and we are committed to it. This involves constant evaluation, critical review, and intense determination to do whatever it takes to honor God in all we do.
